Statement of Inclusion

Enrollment Management is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive experience where people of all backgrounds are welcomed, connected and valued. Indigenizing the New Student Enrollment Process Committee

With a commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity, the Indigenizing the New Student Enrollment Process Committee was established in the spring of 2020. This committee was formed to actively promote the engagement, representation, and accessibility of the enrollment process for Native American students. Committee sessions are scheduled during the fall and spring semesters, excluding the summer term. 

Co-chairing this committee are Kasey Urquídez, Chief Enrollment Officer/VP, Enrollment Management, and Levi Esquerra, Senior Vice President for Native American Advancement and Tribal Engagement. 

 

Native American Financial Aid Advisory Committee

In a proactive effort to personalize and better support financial aid assistance for Indigenous Wildcats, the Native American Financial Aid Advisory Committee was established in spring 2020. The Committee gathers once a semester, except for the summer months.

Providing guidance as co-chairs are Kasey Urquídez, Chief Enrollment Officer/VP, Enrollment Management, along with Levi Esquerra, Senior Vice President for Native American Advancement and Tribal Engagement.
