The Professional Development and Recognition Committee is responsible for the collection of nominations and coordination of the EM Awards Recognition Reception. Additionally, the committee leads divisional initiatives for professional development and leadership.
The Leadership and Development subcommittee seeks to promote personal growth, networking, and foster leadership development by providing knowledge and encouraging access to opportunities. Additionally, our goal is to motivate team members to enhance their understanding of Higher Education and Enrollment Management via courses, certifications, articles, and more.
The Communication and Outreach subcommittee develops, manages and promotes the EM professional development website. In addition, this subcommittee is responsible for identifying other ways of sharing and promoting news, events and other professional development opportunities for EM staff.
The Service and Wellness subcommittee organizes and supports wellness events and shares resources provided within the department, campus, and community. These events and resources might include but are not limited to, volunteering, team building, stress relief, social activities, and campus health events. Additionally, the subcommittee serves as a liaison between EM and the Life and Work Connections department on campus.
