Mary Venezia, M.A.
Mary lends order to the chaos of Enrollment Management by spearheading new programs and projects, maintaining and fostering key relationships, identifying strategic initiatives, preparing communications, and researching the ever-changing profession that is enrollment management. She has launched over 54 new initiatives since 2013. Prior to a career in Enrollment Management, Mary worked in university housing, pre-college programming and academic advising. She is also a member of the University Office of Planning leadership team.
Mary’s passion for and commitment to public higher education has earned her recognition as an Emerging Leader from the Arizona Women in Higher Education, as well as the University of Arizona Staff Excellence Award. Mary previously served on the College Board’s Western Regional Council and has completed the College Board’s Enrollment Leadership Academy. She is a Flinn-Brown Fellow and a member of the Tucson Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leaders Council, for leaders in the Tucson community under 40.
A first-generation college student, Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication & Public Relations from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Arizona.
